Synopsis

A male and a female feel lonely and sad until they finally meet. After a short time they are very certain that they will never say good-bye to each other, again.

Film Facts

An animated film for the wedding of Olivier Altenbach (Elch), describing how he and his wife met and fell in love. Of course, his wife wasn’t allowed to know anything about it, so the production was a bit difficult to handle, as the dear Olli had to keep finding excuses why he had to meet me all the time.

This was the first film we shot in our new “studio”. It is also the first film we made with a Canon DSLR camera and the Dragonframe animation program. The quality of the film has therefore increased noticeably.

This film was also the first time we used post-processing with After Effects. Flying airplanes were not exactly our specialty until then. There are also many small details in the film such as a joint smoking junkie in the background during the proposal or a glittering gemstone. All these effects were done with After Effects.

The song “Never say good-bye” was written, sung and produced by me especially for the film. It tells the story parallel to the film.
